After a long career in community social work, In June of 2017 I quit my full time job to open Couch to Couch Counseling.  I wanted to live and work in the same town where I am raising my small family in Oregon, IL.  Now, I can walk to work and spend my days doing the work I love.

I earned my Bachelor's degree from Rockford University and a Master's in Social Work from the University of Illinois.  I have been a licensed clinical social worker in the state of Illinois since 2015.  I am a member of the National Association of Social Workers, the American Couneling Association and the Association for Counselor Education and Superision.  I am specially trained in both domestic violence and sexual assault.
